Hello would I need to download the steam version as I use the Xbox app right now and 2nd question would I need to disable secure boot or does it not matter?

Hi Ashy. There are no system components such as Secure Boot that need to be disabled to load Halo: Infinite. The loading procedure is straight forward, redeem the key, accept any updates inside the loader and open the game, the injection happens automatically. Steam is however required as it is used for additional authentication within the loader.
